The Practice

Wellness

Wellness is not a destination. It is the quality of attention you bring to each ordinary moment.

My Philosophy

I do not chase wellness. I practice it.

For years I believed wellness was something you arrived at — a state of perfect balance achieved through the right products, the right routine, the right discipline. I was wrong.

True wellness, I have come to understand, is not a destination. It is a daily practice of presence — of choosing, again and again, to honor the body and mind you inhabit. It is imperfect, iterative, and deeply personal.

The Four Rituals

My wellness life is built around four anchoring practices. Not rules — rituals. There is a difference.

The Morning

01

The Morning

Before the world asks anything of me, I give something to myself. Warm water with lemon. Stillness. A single page of writing. The morning is not for productivity — it is for orientation.

60 minutes of protected silence
Movement

02

Movement

I move because it makes me feel alive — not to punish, not to shrink. Pilates, long walks, the occasional swim. Movement as pleasure, not obligation.

Daily, without exception
Nourishment

03

Nourishment

I eat beautifully. Seasonal, considered, unhurried. A meal is not a transaction — it is an act of care. I set the table even when eating alone.

Seasonal and intentional
Rest

04

Rest

Sleep is the most underrated luxury. I protect it fiercely — cool room, linen sheets, no screens after nine. Rest is not laziness. It is the foundation of everything else.

Eight hours, non-negotiable

What I Use

The Edit

I am selective about what I put on and in my body. These are the products that have earned a permanent place in my routine — chosen for efficacy, ethics, and the quiet pleasure of using something beautifully made.

A Reminder

You cannot pour from an empty vessel. Fill yourself first.
